;Glenara察Glenara察now read me my dream。; Campbell。

Father察 I have dreamed a dream察 When the rosy morning hour

Then to rest I laid me down察 Where a beech tree cast its shade察

Soon a heaviness came o'er me察 And a deep sleep sealed my eyes察

And a vision past before me察 Full of changing phantasies。

First I stood beside a bower察 Green as summer bow'r could be察Vine

and fruit察and leaf and flower察 Mixed to weave its canopy。

And within reclined a form察 As embodied moonlight fair察 With a

And in words of music said察 Drink察and learn the lore of love ─

Next I stood beside a mountain察 Of majestic form and height察Cliff

On its lofty brow were growing Flowers never chilled by gloom察

For the sky above them glowing察 Dyed them with a deathless bloom。

And I saw the crystal dome察 Wondrous in its majesty察Where earth's

By its portals察 I espied One who kept the courts within察 High he

waved a wreath and cried察 Come up hitherstrive and win ─

Then my vision changed again此 In a fairy´coloured shell察 O'er the

It is a circumstance connected with the history of Nero察 that every

spring and summer察 for many years after his death察 fresh and beautiful

named Acle察 whom Nero had brought to Rome from her native city察
